Great Moments in Teaching: A student griped about having 38 problems to do for classwork so he wanted to know what he could do to make it 25 so I said bring me five king size Hersey bars. After negotiating, it was reduced to 6 regular size ones. The student agreed that he'll bring it tomorrow. However, if he doesn't bring it in, it'll be an extra 50 questions on their take home final exam. I never seen a class glare at one student and shit bricks at the same time.
